This GIVEAWAY was so fun! It’s clear many of you are motivated to get more organized. This past weekend, I managed to finally tackle our pantry. It’s an item that’s been on my TO DO LIST for way too long. And now that it’s finally done, it feels way good. So good, I am extremely excited to dive in and tackle more home organization projects.
The Great Pantry Purge of 2013 yielded some fabulous finds. Like a bottle of marinade my hubby and I picked up while vacationing in Santorini, Greece a few years ago. It was hiding behind everything I managed to successfully cram into my small pantry. Thankfully it’s still good! I plan on making a special dinner with it soon. I also found I have tons of Crisco bars, chocolate chips, cans of green beans, refried beans and beef broth. Now that my pantry is perfectly straightened and I know exactly what’s in there, I’ll be able to save my family money by not buying items we really don’t need. Just another perk of being organized.
Next on my home organization 2013 journey is our coat closet. I’m fired up and ready to go! Ready to take on my entire home. To purge and make pretty.
I’ve opened my pantry countless times since Saturday. Not to grab something to eat, but instead, to just stand back and peer at how nice it looks. And when I close those pantry doors, it’s like a weight has been lifted off my back.
I will admit, there are a couple more organizational tasks I’d like to accomplish with my pantry before I’m truly satisfied. To do this, I need to make a trip to The Container Store for a few canisters. I need better storage for all the noodles, rice and cereal. Not only will these canisters make it look cleaner, it will function more efficiently.

Wow Lisa!! Thank you!! I had no idea it was me. I was on IG and saw Sally’s comment and thought it was her. LOL I will get you a before and after picture when I get my office alittle more organized.
